OREM, UT – A crash between a Nissan passenger car and a Volkswagen Golf left one dead in Orem Sunday.
The collision happened on I-15 around 3:30 am, FOX 13 Now reported.
After the Volkswagen Golf struck the Nissan, both drivers lost control of their vehicles. This caused both cars to spin out of control before colliding with a barrier.
The driver of the Nissan sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Volkswagen succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Part of the interstate closed but has reopened since.
