Fiery crash reported on I-80 in Summit County

SUMMIT COUNTY, UT – A fiery car crash was reported on the eastbound lanes of I-80 in Summit Park around 5 pm Tuesday.  The accident can be seen on the right shoulder, UDOT Traffic tweeted. Multiple people injured from bicycle crash in Park City

PARK CITY, UT – Several people were injured in a bicycle crash in Park City Saturday, ABC 4 reported.  The collision occurred around 11:30 am on Chalk Creek Road.  One person suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. Vehicle fire occurs on I-80 in Park City

PARK CITY, UT – A vehicle fire occurred on the westbound lanes of I-80 in Park City around 12:20 pm Thursday, TownLift reported.  The cause of the accident was not stated. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames. Car falls into river, kills man, dog in Summit County

SUMMIT COUNTY, UT – After a car spiraled down a river and landed on its hood, it killed a 39-year-old man and his dog. KSL said the accident happened early Wednesday near 4300 E. Weber Canyon Road in Summit County. Deputies were dispatched at 6:10 am. When they arrived, they saw that the car was already flipped over and the man and his dog had died. SUMMIT COUNTY, UT – A semi-truck caught fire on the I-80 Wednesday afternoon, Town Lift reported. The truck was hauling vehicles on top. Semi-truck carrying 200 bees, flips over on I-80 in Summit

SUMMIT COUNTY, UT – A semi-truck, which hauled 200 bees, rolled over on I-80 Monday afternoon, KSL News Radio reported.  The time of the crash was unclear, but the bees escaped, which meant Park City Fire Department and Utah Highway Patrol had to clear the road, blocking a lane.  The driver suffered minor injuries, and it is unknown if the bees caused injuries to other drivers on the road.  If you suffered injuries from a car accident in Utah, you’d want to have a copy of your Utah official accident report handy when filing a claim with your insurance company.

Truck Catches Fire on Interstate 80 by Summit Park

SUMMIT COUNTY, UT – A red Dodge truck with a trailer burst into flames on I-80 East around 5:30 pm Saturday, KPCW reported.  Two lanes were closed, and emergency responders took care of the fire just after 6 pm. The driver and passengers of the Dodge truck managed to get out of the car and suffered no injuries.  Utah Highway Patrol officials believe a mechanical issue caused the fire.
