2 motorcyclists killed after hit by wrong-way driver in southern Utah

VEYO, UT – A man and woman died and another person was seriously injured after a head-on collision in Washington County Sunday evening. The fatal crash happened on Highway 91 near Gunlock Road around 4:20 p.m. according to the Gephardt Daily. A driver in a car traveling northbound crossed the center lane and struck a Harley Davidson motorcycle head-on. The man and woman on the Harley Davidson were pronounced dead at the scene. ST. GEORGE, UT – Two people were injured after a collision off I-15 southbound when one driver ran a red light on Wednesday, Jan. 18. According to Cedar City News, a male driver in a GMC truck was traveling northwest on the Bluff Street overpass and did not stop for the red light on the west side of the overpass. WASHINGTON CITY, UT – A distracted driver reaching for a cellphone caused a four-car pileup in front of an elementary school in south central Washington County, St. George News reports.
