21-year-old man killed in single-vehicle crash on SR-16 in Rich County

RICH COUNTY, UT – A solo-vehicle crash on SR-16 took the life of a 21-year-old man around 5:42 pm Monday, ABC 4 reported. The man tried to overtake a car in front of him, and a car was already coming into the lane that he had moved in. The driver was hoping to avoid a head-on collision with the other vehicle but ended up losing control of his car and traveling off course. The car flipped over, and the driver was thrown. The driver suffered life-threatening injuries. He died, but it was unclear if he was killed at the scene
