Narrative
SALT LAKE CITY, UT – A man in his 50s went to the hospital on Thursday after a stolen pickup truck crashed into his vehicle in the Central City area of Salt Lake City.
The incident happened just after 12:30 p.m. in the area of 400 East 600 South, which is just northwest of Liberty Park.
Police say they attempted to stop a stolen pickup truck in the area of 550 East 400 South. The driver of the truck fled the scene and ultimately crashed into a sedan, critically injuring the driver.
The driver and a passenger from the pickup truck exited the vehicle and fled the scene. Authorities apprehended the female driver and are still looking for the passenger.
