Narrative
GRAND CO., UT – A 61-year-old woman died Thursday in a head-on crash along the highway in south-central Grand County.
The incident occurred around 10:50 a.m. on US-287 just south of Moab and north of Spanish Valley.
Police say a southbound motorcyclist experienced problems with her bike, at which point she veered onto the northbound side of the road and crashed head-on with a northbound truck.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her name to the public.
