EMERY COUNTY, UT – On Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022 a semi-tractor crashed into a canyon wall on I-70 near milepost 145 ABC4 reports.
Utah State Troopers reported the semi-tractor and box trailer headed down through Spotted Wolf Canyon. As it approached the area west of the Green River, the vehicle veered off the road and into the dirt canyon wall.
There were no eyewitnesses present on the scene. Troopers found that the evidence suggested the driver tried to exit the vehicle before crashing.
After arriving on scene, UHP discovered the driver pinned under the rear wheels of the vehicle. Officers pronounced him dead shortly after.
