FARR WEST, UT – A fatal crash involving a car and a semi-truck closed all northbound lanes on I-15 in Farr West, near North Ogden this morning.
The incident took place shortly before 3 a.m. at milepost 349 near 2700 North. The preliminary investigation suggests that the semi-truck rear-ended the car after cresting a rise on the interstate. Troopers believe the car may have been disabled after hitting a deer in the right lane.
Three individuals seated in the car’s backseat suffered fatal injuries the crash. Two occupants in the front seat were transported to the hospital in critical condition. Their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
