One dead in car versus train crash in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – An Uber passenger was left dead in a car versus TRAX train crash in Salt Lake City Wednesday. 

The collision occurred at Main Street and 700 South, FOX 13 Now reported. The Uber driver was speeding and drove through the red light when they collided with the train. 

It is unclear if the driver was injured. The passenger, however, succumbed to their injuries and died. 

No one on the train was harmed.
