SALT LAKE CITY, UT – A 27-year-old man has surrendered to authorities after fleeing the scene of a fatal crash involving a bicyclist on Sunday.
The incident occurred early near the intersection of Redwood Rd. and Indiana Ave.at approximately 4:40 a.m.
The victim, identified as Juan Macino, 58, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver responsible for the crash allegedly failed to stop and continued driving north on Redwood Rd. He turned himself in to authorities some time later on.
