Narrative
SALT LAKE CITY, UT – A hit-and-run collision seriously injured a woman at a busy Salt Lake City intersection on Monday morning.
The crash occurred around 5 a.m. at North Temple and North 600 West, which is just east of I-15 and north of Metro Music Hall.
Police say a southbound vehicle neglected to stop at a red light and struck the pedestrian in the crosswalk at the intersection. The vehicle then fled the scene.
Medics transported the woman to the hospital with critical injuries.
