MURRAY, UT – A man in his 30s died on Tuesday night when a vehicle struck his motorcycle at a busy Murray intersection.

Police responded to the scene around 6:40 p.m. in the area of 5900 South and State Street, which is northwest of Midvalley Health Center.

The investigation indicates that a northbound vehicle collided with the southbound motorcycle when the former vehicle turned left from 5900 South.

The motorcyclist was not wearing a safety helmet and died at the scene from injuries sustained in the collision. Authorities have not yet released his identity to the public.

A full investigation is underway.
