Narrative
SALT LAKE CITY, UT – One person died on Friday night when a vehicle struck them along the interstate in South Salt Lake.
The collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. on the northbound side of I-15 near 3200 South, which is just east of Golf the Round.
Police haven’t shared any details about the collision except to say that the pedestrian died at the scene after attempts at resuscitation failed. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
It’s not yet clear if the vehicle involved in the accident remained at the scene.
