TAYLORSVILLE, UT – A man was killed Wednesday when his vehicle slammed into the rear of a disabled cement truck on I-295.
Troopers with UHP say the cement truck became disabled after losing a tire in the northbound lanes of the interstate near 4700 South. While troopers were assisting, a pickup truck careened off the roadway and into the rear of the cement truck.
The pickup’s driver, an unidentified adult male, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. No additional injuries were reported.
