TOOELE, UT – A Saturday pickup truck versus car crash on the westbound lanes of I-80 in Tooele left a person seriously injured.
The collision happened around 3:30 am, according to a press release from the Utah Department of Public Safety.
It is unclear why a pickup truck traveled off course and crossed the median. Shortly after, a Genesis passenger car slammed into the pickup truck.
One person sustained minor injuries, while another suffered life-threatening injuries.
The westbound lanes closed for clearance and investigation and have reopened since.
