SPANISH FORK, UT – Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash that injured one person Sunday along the highway in Spanish Fork.
The crash occurred just after 4:45 p.m. on US-6 near South Covered Bridge Drive, which is northwest of Spanish Fork River Park.
Police say that an eastbound vehicle sideswiped a westbound truck that was hauling a trailer. The crash caused the trailer on the truck to jackknife into the eastbound lanes, at which point an eastbound sedan struck it.
Medics transported the driver of the sedan via air ambulance.
Nobody else involved in the accident required hospitalization.
A full investigation is underway.
