Narrative
SPANISH FORK, UT – A woman died on Thursday morning in a head-on collision with a FedEx truck along the highway in Spanish Fork.
The crash happened just before 9 a.m. on Route 6 near Diamond Fork Road, which is just north of Spanish Fork River Park.
The investigation indicates that a westbound FedEx box truck veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-first with the victim’s eastbound SUV.
The driver of the SUV died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her identity to the public.
Medics transported the FedEx driver to the hospital with serious injuries.
It’s not yet clear what caused the truck driver to leave the westbound lane of traffic. The investigation is ongoing.
