Narrative
WEST JORDAN, UT – According to Utah Public Radio, an elderly man was killed in a high-speed, head-on collision in West Jordan on Thursday.
Authorities say the crash took place around 12:30 p.m. at an unidentified intersection in West Jordan when a driver of a Dodge pickup truck was traveling north and struck a driver in a Chevy Colorado that was traveling west. The impact caused the Chevy to roll over, killing the driver, an elderly man.
First responders pronounced the unidentified man dead at the scene. Two passengers in the Dodge pickup truck sustained minor injuries in the collision and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
