SPANISH FORK CANYON, UT – Two people were killed and two others were sent to the hospital following a major crash in Spanish Fork Canyon on Sunday.
The incident took place when a westbound Chevrolet Cruze on US-6 slammed into a Hyundai Elantra as it was waiting to turn onto Diamond Fork Canyon Road.
The Chevrolet then spun-out and was hit by an oncoming Toyota Venza.
Both occupants of the Chevrolet, 24-year-old Burley Parke, and his 16-year-old passenger, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
The drivers of the Toyota and the Hyundai were taken to an area hospital for treatment. Their identities are not mentioned in the report.
