Narrative
HEBER CITY, UT – A wrong-way crash involving two pick-up trucks killed one person and injured two others on Thursday in Wasatch County.
The accident occurred just after 10:30 p.m. on US-40 near mile marker 24 in the Heber City area.
Police say a westbound Ford F-150 entered the eastbound side of Highway 40 and crashed head-on into an eastbound Dodge Ram.
Medics transported the driver and passenger of the Dodge to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
The 39-year-old driver of the Ford died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their identity to the public.
A full investigation is underway.
