ST. GEORGE, UT – A motorcyclist died, and another person sustained injuries Friday in a two-vehicle crash along a major roadway in St. George.
The accident happened at 5:10 p.m. on the southbound side of North 2450 East, which runs north to south on the western side of the city.
Police say that the 19-year-old driver of a southbound motorcycle hit a car as the latter vehicle was making a left turn.
The 19-year-old died at the scene. Authorities have not released the biker’s name to the public.
Medics transported the driver of the car to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
