Narrative
WASHINGTON CO., UT – A man in his 40s died early Monday morning after crashing his vehicle along the highway in northern Washington County.
Officers located the the crash site just after 5:20 a.m. on UT-18 near mile marker 28 between Enterprise and Central.
The investigation indicates that the southbound driver likely lost control of his pickup truck while speeding around a curve in the roadway. The truck, which was hauling a trailer, left the roadway and overturned, throwing the unrestrained driver from the vehicle.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
The investigation is ongoing.
