Narrative
ROY, UT – An elderly woman died Thursday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in south-central Weber County.
The accident happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. at South 3100 West and South Midland Drive, which is just northwest of Roy High School in the city of Roy.
Police say that a northbound and southbound vehicle collided when the driver of the southbound vehicle turned without yielding right of way.
Medics transported both occupants of the northbound vehicle to an area hospital, where one of them later died. Authorities have not yet disclosed her identity to the public.
The other driver sustained minor injuries. It’s unclear if they required hospitalization.
