WEST VALLEY CITY, UT – A wrong-way driver was killed in SR-201 near 3400 W around 1 am Sunday, ABC News 4 reports.
The Utah Department of Public Safety said the wrong-way driver was driving a silver Chevy Malibu eastbound in westbound lanes and collided with a gray Ford EcoSport.
The silver Chevy Malibu driver died shortly after, and the gray Ford EcoSport driver was severely injured and hospitalized.
Alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the wrong-way driver’s death and crash; no other details were reported.
